Find the Guest Wedding Bingo

A find-the-guest mingling game for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners: guests look for someone who matches each square and collect a signature. It helps both sides of the guest list meet, and it is not a card for spotting things that happen during the wedding.

  • 4×4 grid
  • 72 prompts to pick from
  • US Letter & A4
  • Host instructions included

Free, no sign-up. Every card in a batch is different. You can edit the title and prompts before you print.

Card 1 of a sample batch, made with the generator on this site.

Who it’s for

  • Receptions where many guests don't know each other
  • Rehearsal dinners with family from both sides
  • Cocktail hour while the couple takes photos
  • Smaller weddings that want one easy group activity

How to play

  1. Give each player a card and a pen. Players write their name at the top.
  2. Players talk to each other. When someone fits a square, that person signs it. Nobody signs their own card.
  3. By default each person can sign a card once and the first full row, column, or diagonal wins. In the generator you can allow two signatures or switch to “most squares in a set time.”
  4. Plan on about 15–20 minutes for a 4×4 card. That’s a suggestion; adjust it to your group.

Tips for hosting

  • At a seated reception, have guests trade cards with their own table first, then let them wander once dinner is cleared.
  • Set one card and a pen at each place setting so nobody has to hunt for supplies.
  • Ask the DJ, emcee, or a friend of the couple to announce the game once, explain signatures, and say when it ends.
  • Cocktail hour is a natural window: guests are already on their feet while the couple is away for photos.
  • If you offer a small prize, keep it simple, such as first pick of the dessert table or a centerpiece to take home.

Printing

  • Print on light cardstock so cards hold up on laps and cocktail tables without a clipboard.
  • Use the Wedding theme in color to sit nicely with place cards, or choose black & white if the cards will be photocopied.
  • Two cards per page in landscape keeps the cards small enough to tuck beside a place setting.
  • Print at 100% (“Actual size”). More detail in How to print bingo cards on US Letter or A4.

Questions

Is this the same as wedding bingo where guests watch for moments like the first kiss?

No. That version is an observation card. This one is a find-the-guest game: each square describes a person, and players find a guest who fits it and ask them to sign.

Will the questions make guests uncomfortable?

The prompts stay light: travel, hobbies, and how people know the couple. They don't ask about anyone's relationship status or family plans. You can edit or remove any prompt before printing.

How many guests do we need for a 4×4 card?

A player needs four other guests to finish a line. Filling the whole card with one signature per person takes at least 17 players, so most weddings play to the first line or to the most squares in a set time.

Can we print a card for every guest, including kids?

You can make up to 100 different cards in one batch. Most prompts work for older kids too; swap out any that don't suit your crowd before you print.
